About us
Independent, and upfront about it
Wager Review Book is a small review site built around one job: telling you honestly how licensed UK casinos compare. We're not a casino, and we never pretend to be.
What we actually are
We're an independent comparison and review resource. We're not a gambling operator, not a regulator, and not owned by or affiliated with any of the brands we write about. We don't run games, take bets or hold anyone's money — none of that happens here and it never will. All we do is sign up, play, and write down how each licensed UK casino stacks up.
How the reviewing works
Everything on the site is written by people who play these games rather than by a marketing desk. We use each casino as an ordinary customer would, then score it against a fixed set of criteria — the UK licence, game range, studios, live casino, the app, the welcome offer type, support and usability. This edition weights game studios and standout titles most heavily, because that's the angle we're building around.
You can read the full method on the home page. The short version: the scores are our own, and no operator gets to buy a better one.
How we pay the bills
Affiliate links keep the lights on. When you follow one of our buttons to an operator and open an account, that operator may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it doesn't change our scores or where a brand sits on the page. We think being plain about this is the least you should expect, which is why it's spelled out in our affiliate disclosure.
What we can't help with
Because we're independent, we have no access to your accounts with any operator. If you need help with a deposit, a withdrawal, verification or a specific game, the casino's own support team is the only place that can sort it. And if gambling stops being fun, the free UK services on our responsible gambling page are independent of every operator and there whenever you need them.
